Sonic the Hedgehog is the main protagonist of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. He is a snarky, mischievous, sassy, one-lining, speeding machine that has dedicated his life to protecting the Earth from Dr. Robotnik.
He is voiced by Jaleel White.
What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]
- He has shown to be quite intelligent, as seen when he was able to figure out that Tails' supposed parents were fake, with him realizing this through the fact that they referred to Tails by the nickname that he had given him.
- Even for a speedster character, he is very manipulative and inventive in the best way possible, with many of his deceptive methods of beating the villains tend to involve him dressing up as different professions (or even crossdressing as a woman to defeat Robotnik sometimes) to then using them to lead the villains to their own downfalls, which is on par with the trickery style of Bugs Bunny. This is made more impressive when you consider that he comes up with these schemes on a whim, showing his quick-thinking ability.
- He always fights on the side of good and uses his intelligence and manipulation to protect innocents from super villains such as Robotnik.
- In "Zoobotnik", he pretended to be a damsel of Robotnik and sees that Katella was forcing Robotnik to be hers even though Robotnik didn't feel the same way, Sonic takes this knowledge and managed to escape the cell while he acts as a "justice of peace" to fill the role of a wedding Sonic himself staged and improvised, and he even called Robotnik's mother to object and make the wedding a disaster (as intended) so Katella didn't marry Robotnik since Sonic told her that "someone was going to ruin your life" and fleeing the situation, Sonic winks to Robotnik and flees the scene while he got Robotnik out of a uncomfortable predicament.
- He uses his quick wits and speedy abilities to protect Mobius from Dr. Robotnik and any threat in the show by using Sonic's intellect and stratagems to outsmart many opponents he comes across.
- Even when he got outsmarted by someone smarter than Sonic like Grounder the Genius, an adversary who Sonic almost lost to him, Sonic remained discreet, calm, levelheaded and saw the opportunity in Scratch coming in to screw up Genius Grounder's nearly successful plans of conquering Mobius, and upon seeing Robotnik with the genius chip, Sonic zips in and replaced the chip with a stupidity chip to foil Robotnik's plans of resourcefully conquering Mobius.
- He has a segment at the end of each episode called "Sonic Says", where he teaches kids important life lessons thus helping the viewers in everyday life, no matter how obvious or unusual the lessons are.

- He is one of five Sonic the Hedgehog characters alongside his video-game version, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Shadow the Hedgehog to be Guile Heroes.
- He is also the only Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog character to be Guile Hero.
- He and his video-game version are the only 2 versions of Sonic to be Guile Heroes.
