“ | Hm? Me? Are you serious?! It seems I got so excited I forgot to introduce myself! I'll start over, hm? I am the lead Guardian researcher and director of the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. Doctooooor... Robbie! | „ |
~ Robbie |
Robbie is one of the supporting characters who appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He is the wife of Jerrin and the father of Granté and he is the creator of the furnace whom he names Cherry, after his ex-girlfriend. He is responsible for getting the Guardians in working order and often the one who creates Guardian-based weapons and armor since Calamity Ganon seized control over them. Like Purah, he plays a major active role in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity's plot.

- In both games, they are scientists and an inventor of various technology, which is proven through the many things they have created, even if some of them didn't turn out like they hoped and shows how they are extremely intelligent.
- Each of them has played a role in the war effort to help Link and the Champions battle Calamity Ganon.
- They both help out in reassembling Terrako when the warriors gather them from across Hyrule.
On His Own Accord[]
- In Breath of the Wild, Robbie has created a machine that he names Cherry, after his ex-girlfriend which plays a role in forging several ancient Guardian weapons and Ancient Armor that grants protection against Guardian lasers
- He was smart enough to be cautious when random strangers inquire of his help, and he knows that the Yiga Clan can disguise themselves as random citizens, so he has them remove their gear to ensure that the person in question is authentic.
- In Age of Calamity, Robbie helps out with decrypting Terrako's memory to help the Hyruleans gain an edge against their enemies.
- While he had a minor slip-up when he didn't do a thorough check on the Sheikah scientists which had them held at blade point when the fake ones reveal themselves to be with the Yiga Clan, he ends up learning from this mistake and it didn't stop him from doing his job and it was never implied that the Yiga Clan actually killed the researchers that they have captured.
- At Akkala Citadel, Robbie gave the troops a morale boost when they were pretty pessimistic at a possible outcome and when Link and the others arrive, he apologizes for the mishap that happened earlier regarding the incident at the lab and he has the soldiers fire the cannons to break down the bridge, taking down the crossing Malice Guardians, effectively protecting the citadel.
Trivia[]
- Robbie is among the four The Legend of Zelda characters, alongside Purah, Revali, and Urbosa to be Guile Heroes.
