Rayman is the titular protagonist of the series based on him called Rayman: The Animated Series, a four-episode CGI 1999 series that is a spin-off of Ubisoft's Rayman video game series.
What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]
- He also helps his friends safe from getting captured by Inspector Grub as "wanted criminals" for escaping a circus that abused Rayman and his friends.
- He acts like a sly prankster who played little tricks on Razorbeard when he was trying to bluntly force Rayman to do circus tricks ordered by Rigatoni.
- Once Rayman and Betina find out Lac-Mac is strong, Rayman tells Lac-Mac to bend the cage bars to break everyone free and put their plans with their "Great Escape" into action.
- He also tricked Razorbeard into getting trapped in a spinning cage that Lac-Mac was in while he and his friends escaped.
- He took the automatic bread slicer Cookie had and had the idea to cut a large hole on the circus float Rayman and the friends were in to jump off of it and escape.
- In the next episode "No Parking", while Rayman and his friends are driving through the city of Aeropolis, Rayman takes the wheel when Lac-Mac drives irresponsibly and Rayman attempts to drive into Inspector Grub's car manages to make Inspector Grub turn around and trail off into a box (a box of heads of Ed from Tonic Trouble).
- Despite parking in a No Parking space by mistake, he and his friends still went out to find Flips by going to a train station and save her from ending up in the scrapyard with their car being towed to the scrapyard.
- While he, Betina, Lac-Mac, and Cookie are at the train station and wondering how are they going to find Flips despite being wanted criminals, he first thinks to disguise himself as someone else to get directions from Inspector Grub before revealing himself by mistake.
- He tricked Inspector Grub by getting Rayman and his friends to hop into two different cars that were being towed, which gave Rayman the chance to hook Inspector Grub's car so he couldn't reach them.
- When the doctor diagnosed Cookie as a schizophrenic psychopath with a mental illness that he didn't have and was told he belonged in the nuthouse, Rayman and his friends had to find sneaky ways to reach Cookie and get him out of that Psych Ward because Inspector Grub was there to visit his mentally ill mother (who was with Cookie).
- He helps his group outrun Inspector Grub and a couple of guards while they were chasing Rayman, Cookie, and his friends with a "Scooby Doo" type of chase scenario.
- In the last episode "Big Date", he made sure Grub was gone so Betina and Lac-Mac could get groceries. When Cookie's worries were stalling them from getting groceries and they all find out Grub was getting a date; Rayman tells the group to secretly help Grub win a date by preparing the food for him and fixing his place so his date can go well when Grub was doing a poor job with the date, which Rayman did so Inspector Grub could focus on them less than he already does as a cop.
- When Inspector Grub botched up his date because of his clumsiness, Rayman comes up with the idea to be a wingman by playing the role of a singing telegram who went to the woman Grub was dating so she could give Inspector Grub a second chance, and he manages to get Inspector Grub into dating her.
- He also provided some mischievous moments here and there, like when he pokes fun at Rigatoni's name and deceiving Inspector Grub a few times.
