"Princess Celestia" is a major supporting character of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She alongside Princess Luna rule Equestria by raising the sun and the moon for the ponies. Princess Celestia is Twilight Sparkle's former teacher before she turns Twilight Sparkle as an Alicorn. In the past, Celestia and Luna used to be the wielders of the Elements of Harmony before they had passed it down to the Mane Six to use for defeating dangerous villains.
What Makes Her A Guile Hero?[]
Season 1[]
- 1000 years ago, she used the Elements of Harmony to send Nightmare Moon/Princess Luna to the moon, so that Equestria is protected from her sister.
- In the present, she took Twilight Sparkle as her student in magic school and had sent her to Ponyville to become friends with the Mane 6, so that they could use the magic of friendship to defeat Nightmare Moon.
- After Nightmare Moon is transformed back into Princess Luna with the Elements of Harmony, Princess Celestia forgives Princess Luna and welcomes her back to Ponyville.
- Had Twilight Sparkle send her a friendship report every time she had learned a lesson at Ponyville.
Season 2[]
- Immediately ordered Twilight Sparkle and her friends to use the Elements of Harmony to defeat Discord.
- Gave Twilight Sparkle multiple friendship reports she had sent to her as a way to help Twilight Sparkle regain hope in defeating Discord.
- Attempts to defeat Queen Chrysalis after she revealed herself to be a Changeling and not Princess Cadance.
- After finding out that Queen Chrysalis and the Changelings had infiltrated the Canterlot Wedding, she orders the Mane 6 to find the Elements of Harmony.
Season 3[]
- Wanted the Mane 6 to reform Discord, so that he could protect Equestria and learn the magic of friendship.
- Believed that Twilight Sparkle is worthy enough to become an Alicorn, so she turns her into one.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls[]
- Warned the Mane 6 to not go with Twilight Sparkle through the mirror to make sure that the balance of the other world is not ruined.
Season 4[]
- She alongside with Princess Luna and Princess Cadance gave their Alicorn magical powers to Twilight Sparkle, so that she can hide the Alicorn magic away from Lord Tirek.
Season 6[]
- She and Princess Luna work together to stop the cold storms from freezing the Crystal Empire.
Season 7[]
- Gave Twilight Sparkle advice on making the decision about Starlight Glimmer's path to learning friendship
- Took on Princess Luna's job of watching the dreams of the ponies while Princess Luna does her job due to Starlight Glimmer accidentally switching both their cutie marks.
- Gained the confidence to defeat Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker in Starlight Glimmer's dream with Princess Luna's advice.
- Became grateful for Princess Luna's hard work of helping ponies in their dreams.
My Little Pony: The Move 2017[]
- Attempted to instruct Princess Luna to go find the Hippogriffs during Tempest Shadow's attack on Canterlot.
Season 8[]
- Instructed Twilight Sparkle to go to the EEA for her school to be made for other creatures that live on other places of Equestria.
