Nolan Grayson, better known as Omni-Man, is the deuteragonist of the Image Comics series Invincible. Omni-Man initially starts off as a Viltrumite agent wanting to conquer the Earth, but redeems himself through the love of his family and enjoyment of being a hero. after being redeemed, Omni-Man seeks to defeat the Viltrumite Empire and save the universe from being conquered by them.

What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]

  • Before his reformation, Nolan Grayson was able to become a superhero for Earth, while hiding the secret of him and his Viltrumite species being conquerors.
  • Successfully murdered the Guardians of the Globes in a discreet manner and managed to trick the world on how they died.
  • Attempts to kill Invincible, but gives up due to the guilt Omni-Man is feeling. This causes Nolan Grayson to reform from his evil ways and redeem himself.
  • Ordered Mark Grayson to hide Andressa and Oliver Grayson in the caves to make sure that they are both safe from the attack of the three Viltrumites.
  • Told Mark Grayson to read his notebooks when Mark Grayson returns back to Earth, so that Mark Grayson can learn the weakness of the Viltrumites.
  • In Nolan Grayson's notebook, it is revealed that Nolan Grayson had been documenting his past missions for the Viltrumite Empire. Mark Grayson uses Nolan Grayson's notebook to learn about the weaknesses of the Viltrumites.
  • Teamed up with Allen to escape the Viltrumite prison.
  • He and Allen under the orders of Thaedus gathers up the resources to prepare for the Viltrumite War.
  • Warned Mark Grayson to be cautious about fighting Conquest in space.
  • Used a cape to bandage Mark Grayson's injuries from Conquest.
  • He and Oliver Grayson spend quality time together while Mark Grayson heals up from his injuries.
  • He, Oliver Grayson, and Mark Grayson rejoin the Viltrumite War by defending Talescria against the Viltrumites.
  • He, Mark Grayson, and Thaedus blow up planet Viltrum to secure their victory against the Viltrumites.
  • Fought Allen to make sure that Allen does not release the Scourge Virus into Earth and potentially harm humanity.
  • Became the leader of the Viltrumite Empire team and showing leadership by reforming the Viltrumites and exiling Thragg from Earth.
  • Recruited his Viltrumite army to fight against Thragg's army of children.
  • Before dying, he gives Mark Grayson advice to lead the Viltrumite Empire and help continue their reformation.
