- Was willing to fix his relationship with CJ and apologize for what he did, although he failed and has learned from this slip-up.
- Saved the park rangers from being brainwashed and saved the future.
- Was concerned about Pops whenever he can't finish the milk challenge due to him being very sick every time.
- Was conscientious enough to help the park rangers get the Fuzzy Dice for Pops' birthday.
- While he used to act immature, lazy and incompetent, however, he was able to recover from his failures, has grown from this state and managed to succeed in many of his goals as he gotten away with his actions and has fixed many mistakes he has caused all while knowing to do what's right (unlike Rigby).
- Was remorseful for beating Rigby in Punchies every time and pretends that he actually was hurt even if he has the Death Block.

- Forgives Rigby after Rigby lied to him about the rejection letter.

- Later redeemed himself by the end of Season 8. thus making him no longer a villain.
- Wanted Rigby and Don to fix their mistakes and apologize for it since Don stole his life (although it was unintentionally) and Rigby was being an idiotic jerk to him.
- Assist Santa and the others in stopping Quillgin from destroying Christmas.
- Tricked Muscle Man into getting the Park Rangers to make a Christmas Present, which was a prank that was meant to indirectly harm Muscle Man painfully and Mordecai did this as a sense of giving Muscle Man his comeuppance for giving Mordecai and Rigby very itchy sweaters, Benson gloves that are made of underwear, and Pops a very smelly drink last Christmas, thus making Mordecai quite sly and tricksy in the best way.
