Laguna Husert is a major supporting character of the Edens Zero anime and manga series. In his first appearance, he starts off as a member of the Element Four, before he is defeated by the crew of Edens Zero. After his defeat, he lives his life as an actor, until being convinced by Witch Regret to join the Edens Zero in their quest to find Mother, stop Ziggy, and fulfill his goal on supporting Oasis. As a member of the Edens Zero, he works with them to gain their trust, and eventually convince them to assist Oasis in overthrowing the Nero Empire.

Past[]
- He became a member of Drakken Joe's Element four, so he would be able to gain Drakken Joe's help in fighting with Oasis.
- He has charismatic skills which he uses to fake his tears and to be a great actor.
Sakura Cosmos Saga[]
Belial Gore arc[]
- He finds Shiki Granbell, Homura Kōgetsu, Weisz Steiner, and E.M. Pino from reading their Ether Energy despite the disguises they wore.
- Once he finds them, Laguna takes advantage of Shiki's tears and turns him into water.
- Stepping on Weisz's foot to make him cry, thereby being given the opportunity to convert him into water.
- 8As he fights Homura, Laguna uses many methods and tactics that could force her to cry, which include:
- Using his own tragic backstory to generate sympathy.
- Trying to elicit tears of joy by pointing out the millions of glee on the ground.
- Crying out sympathetic tears.
- Yawning to force Homura's crying reflexes.
- Once all of his previous options failed, he pulls out an Oedo Onion that will release chemicals which will force Homura to cry.
Aoi Cosmos Saga[]
Red Cave arc[]
- After the defeat of Drakken Joe, he returned to his career as an actor and gave himself a disguise, so he wouldn't be recognized by anyone.
Foresta arc[]
- Operating one of Edens Zero's spacecraft to battle the incoming drones that are approaching the Edens Zero.
- He, Jinn, and Kleene battled the security drones to allow Hermit Mio and Weisz a path to get inside the satellite server.
- Applying water to Müller's O-Tech body parts, giving him an electrical shock.
- As Hermit focuses on hacking the satellite server, Laguna places his hand on her back as a way to cool her off with his water.
Sandra arc[]
- Asking Shiki to rethink his options to go to Planet Nero 1, because of the heavy defense force the planet has.
- Taking Shiki, Rebecca, Weisz, Pino, Happy, and Homura to Sandra so they can meet a guy that can help them deal with the battleships in Planet Nero 1.
Nero 66 arc[]
- He turns Shiki and Rebecca into water in order to stop them from killing each other during their brainwashed phase.
- After they are both converted into water, Laguna locks them up in a bottle and then gives the bottle to Pino. With Pino in charge of the battle, Laguna orders her and Happy to continue their journey in finding Witch.
- He figured out that Ijuna's love for Shura is a lie, due to how her Red String of Destiny bonds people together.
- He made himself cry so he would purposefully turn himself into water and be able to survive Ijuna's decapitation from her strings.
- Converting Ijuna into water, so he could cut the Red String of Destiny that forced her to love Shura.
- Putting Ijuna into a bottle to easily transport her and to protect her from her own injuries.
- He makes the decision to stay with the Edens Zero from having found about what he wants to do with his life.
Kaede Cosmos Saga[]
Lendard arc[]
- Making Holy cry with an Oedo Onion, so he would be able to temporarily convert her arm into water and have it be healed.
- From seeing more extensions of Crow's body getting in his, Holy, and Jinn's way, Laguna sees the clues that they care getting closer to Crow's power source.
