Kyle Reese is the main protagonist of Terminator Genisys. He is a resistance soldier from the future that got sent back in time to protect Sarah Connor from the evil T-800. However, the timeline he came into has instead been changed by Pops and the T-1000's appearance, causing his mission to be changed. Rather than just protect Sarah Connor, he teams up with her and Pops, so that they are able to kill the T-800 and the T-1000. Soon, with their enemies defeated, he and Sarah go into a time machine to stop the spread of Skynet/Genisys, with Pops staying behind to prepare for their arrival.
What Makes Him a Guile Hero?[]
- Became a soldier of the resistance to fight against Skynet.
- Going to the past to protect Sarah from the T-800.
- Sneakily stealing clothes from a clothing store, while at the same time, hiding from the cops.
- Assisted Sarah in fighting the T-1000 in a car chase.
- Sneaking around its sight and defeated the T-800 on his own
- Stabbing the T-800 with electrical wires to distract it.
- Sniping the T-800's head off with a sniper.
- Suggested to Sarah that they time travel into 2017 instead of 1997, believing that the time of Judgment Day taking place has changed.
- Trapping John Connor with an MRI machine to buy Sarah and Pops the time to escape.
- Strategized with Pops and Sarah about John's weakness, and the plan to destroy Genisys.
- Using the magnet fisticuff that Pops made to punch John down into the ocean.
- Made a strategic decision to maneuver the helicopter to give Sarah the position to shoot John and for Pops the opportunity to destroy John's helicopter.
- Using explosives to blast open a gate, so that he and Sarah can rescue Pops from John.
- Picking up Pops' arm to slash John and for Sarah to open a hole in John's chest with a shotgun, giving Pops the chance to pin John inside the prototype time machine.
- Gave his alternate self to repeat the message of Genisys being Skynet.
