Knuckles the Echidna is one of the three main protagonists of Sonic.exe: The Spirits of Hell. In its sequel game, Sally.exe: The Whisper of Soul, he is one of the six main protagonists. Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald, swearing himself to protect it to anyone planning to abuse its powers. During the current event of the games, he acts as one of the playable characters that are pitted in a battle of survival against Exeller.
What Makes Him a Guile Hero?[]
History[]
- He was initially tricked by Doctor Robotnik's seemingly benevolent goals of wanting to protect the Master Emerald, until learning the truth from both Sonic and Tails. Upon learning the truth, Knuckles supported Tails and Sonic in defeating Eggman.
Sonic.exe: The Spirits of Hell[]
- Using the illusions of the red rings to get past the pillars blocking the pathway.
- Used the big ring to teleport into the Master Emerald, so he can learn on what happened to Eggman's base.
- Discussed with Tails and Eggman to learn about what happened to Sonic, before learning they all learned the full story from the Master Emerald.
- Teleported Tails and Eggman to Sky Sanctuary to prepare themselves for Exeller.
- Dodging Exebi's attacks and using the red orbs as a way to damage him.
- Incase Tails decides on helping Sonic, Knuckles will sacrifice himself to save Tails from Exeller's attack.
Sally.exe: The Whisper of Souls[]
- Using his treasure hunting skills to find the generators and have them activated, so that no one is harmed by Exeller's illusion fireball.
- Having Tails, Cream, Amy, Eggman, and Sally hold hands with each other, so they will all be protected from Exeller's possession of the Master Emerald.
- Assisted in the final battle against Exeller.
