Knuckles the Echidna better known as Knuckles is one of the main characters of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
He is a brute who has dedicated himself to protecting the Master Emerald from danger. He is generally known for his hotheaded nature and his determination.
In Japanese, he was voiced by Nobutoshi Canna. He was voiced in English by Michael McGaharn in Sonic Adventure, Ryan Drummond in Sonic Shuffle, Scott Dreier from 2001 to 2004, Dan Green from 2005 to 2010, Travis Willingham from 2010 to 2018, and Dave B. Mitchell from 2019 onwards.
What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]
- In Sonic Forces he lead the resistance against Eggman, with him calling the shots and making the plans, showing his strategic ability.
- Has stopped Eggman from in-acting his plans, such as when he shattered the Master Emerald to stop him from getting it.
- While he has been tricked by Eggman in the past, this potential prevention has seemingly been subverted, as he hasn't been properly tricked by Eggman since Sonic Adventure.
- Showed remorse for targeting, Sonic & Tails, and went on to become a close friend to both of them.
- Is a fierce protector of the Master Emerald and has managed to protect it for many years.
