Kagaya Ubuyashiki is a supporting character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga and anime adaptation. Kagaya Ubuyashiki is the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. Despite being sick, Kagaya Ubuyashiki leads the Demon Slayer Corps to kill Muzan Kibutsuji. Kagaya Ubuyashiki first appears by showing his merciful side on letting Nezuko Kamado live despite being a demon.

What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]

  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki led the Demon Slayer Corps when he was 4 years old.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki in the past helped Gyomei Himejima escape his execution and convinces Gyomei Himejima to become a Demon Slayer.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki has helped the Demon Slayer Corps be hidden in secret from the Demons.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki trains his children to be prepared to become leaders for the Demon Slayer Corps and to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki takes the time to remember all the names of the Demon Slayers that had died during their fight against the Demons.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki was able to understand Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado's situation from both Giyu Tomioka and Sakonji Urokodaki and spares them despite Nezuko being Demon.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki was able to predict to Gyomei Himejima that Muzan Kibutsuji can only be killed by the sun.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki teams up with Lady Tamayo to kill Muzan Kibutsuji.
  • Kagaya Ubuyashiki, his wife, and two children use themselves as bait to lure Muzan Kibutsuji into the Demon Slayer Corps.
  • Despite being dead, Kagaya Ubuyashiki advises his son Kiriya Ubuyashiki to let go of Nezuko during the battle against Muzan Kibutsuji.
