Markus "Mark" Sebastian Grayson, better known by superhero name Invincible, is the main protagonist of the Image Comic Book Series "Invincible." Mark Grayson is the son of Nolan Grayson and Debbie Grayson. Mark Grayson has a half brother named Oliver Grayson that was born on planet Thraxia. Mark Grayson starts off as a high schooler and a worker for Burgermart before gaining his Viltrumite powers from his father Nolan Grayson. Upon gaining superpowers, Mark Grayson becomes a superhero known as Invincible.

What Makes Him a Guile Hero?[]

  • Goes to school to learn new subjects to use later for his life.
  • Immediately becomes a hero known as ''Invincible'' after obtaining superpowers from his dad Nolan Grayson.
  • Takes the time to talk with Allen and learns of the existence of the Coalition of Planets. Invincible tells Allen to not confuse Earth with Urath.
  • Upon learning that Omni-Man plans to conquer Earth for the Viltrumite Empire, Invincible defies Omni-Man to protect Earth. At the end of their fight, Omni-Man questions Invincible on what the latter will have after 500 years. Invincible responds that he will still have Omni-Man as his dad which causes Omni-Man to be filled with remorse to the point that the latter leaves Earth.
  • Pretends to act scared, so that Lethan can fight a sea monster and give Lethan a chance to marry Aquaria. Once Lethan prepares to fight the sea monster, Invincible claps his hands to propel Lethan and give the latter the chance to defeat the sea monster.
  • Helping the astronauts' escape the Martians on Mars.
  • Teaming up with Omni-Man to stop the 3 Viltrumites from conquering Thraxa.
  • Listens to Omni-Man's request of looking for the latter's books.
  • Takes Oliver Grayson to Earth under Andressa's orders, so that Oliver Grayson can be given a proper life.
  • Easily avoids Mastermind's mind controlling powers by dropping a rock on his head.
  • Fights Angstrom Levy to save Debbie and Oliver Grayson from being held hostage. Invincible overcomes Angstrom Levy's portal powers by being patient and striking Angstrom Levy when the latter's guard was at it's lowest.
  • Becoming a mentor towards Oliver Grayson to help the latter become a superhero.
  • Immediately runs away from Cecil Stedman to prevent Cecil Stedman from using a weapon on Invincible's ear.
  • Tells the Guardians of the Globe about Cecil Stedman's shady methods. Once the weapon is turned off inside Invincible's ear, Invincible warns Cecil Stedman to not stay away from his family.
  • Scolds Oliver Grayson for recklessly killing the Mauler Twins and explains as to why life should be valued despite Oliver Grayson disagreeing.
  • Catching a hidden camera and suspecting that he and Oliver Grayson are being watched by someone.
  • Captures Powerplex and puts the latter in prison due to Powerplex accidentally killing his own family.
  • Listens to Oliver Grayson's advice to kill Angstrom Levy to prevent the latter from causing more destruction in the future. Unfortunately, Angstrom Levy escapes through a portal.
  • Fighting Conquest to make sure that Conquest does not conquer the Earth.
  • Saving Oliver twice during the fight against Conquest.
  • After Mark Grayson is healed from his injuries from his fight against Conquest, Mark Grayson asks Cecil Stedman to show him the corpse of Conquest to make sure the Conquest is dead.
  • Joining the Viltrumite War and helping the Coalition of Planets stop the Viltrumites.
  • He figures out that Cecil Stedman showed him a fake corpse of Conquest once Invincible sees Conquest in space.
  • He grips onto Conquest's neck and succeeds in strangling Conquest to death.
  • He, Omni-Man, and Oliver Grayson defend Talescria from the Viltrumites.
  • He and Oliver Grayson destroy the Viltrumite Warships and throw them into space.
  • He, Thaedus, and Omni-Man blow up Planet Viltrum.
  • Suspecting that the Viltrumites are hiding on Earth.
  • Makes a deal with Thragg on letting the Viltrumites stay on Earth, so that the Viltrumites won't harm humanity.
  • Realizes that Dinosaurus is an extremist, so Invincible breaks Dinosaurus out of prison to work together on saving Earth.
  • He teams up with Thragg on convincing Oliver Grayson and Allen from releasing the Scourge Virus onto Earth.
  • Stopping Oliver Grayson from releasing the Scourge Virus onto Earth.
  • Stops Allen, Oliver Grayson, and Zandale Randolph from fighting Dinosaurus.
  • Realizes that Dinosaurus had planted bombs on the Arctic.
  • Fulfills the request of Dinosaurus by killing the latter.
  • He and Rudolph Conners team up together to save Angstrom Levy in an alternate dimension. Unfortunately for Invincible, Rudolph Conners betrays him and leaves him on the alternate dimension.
  • Switched costumes with Mohawk Invincible to trick the Viltrumites.
  • Acted mean towards the Viltrumites to hide the fact that Mohawk Invincible is dead.
  • Seeks an alternate version of Rudolph Conners to get help.
  • Suggests to Rudolph Conners to use a cloned body of Invincible to take control of the Viltrumite Empire.
  • Recruits a Mauler, so that the Mauler can create a cloned body of Invincible for Rudolph Conners.
  • Protects Eve from Rudolph Conner's world domination of Earth.
  • Becomes a parent for Terra, so Mark Grayson, Eve, and Terra move to live on Talescria.
  • Takes Terra to a hospital to make sure that she is ok.
  • Changing events of the past to ensure that innocent lives are saved.
  • Rejoining with the Coalition of Planets to kill Thragg.
  • Leading Thragg and his Viltrumite army to Earth, so the planet can be used as a stronghold against Thragg and the latter's children.
  • Succeeds in killing Thragg inside the sun.
  • Overthrows Rudolph Conners from ruling the world by placing the latter's brain in a jar.
  • Leading the Viltrumite Empire for 500 years to bring peace towards the universe.
