Gromit (born 12th February) is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Wallace) of the Wallace and Gromit franchise. He is Wallace's sidekick and mute pet dog.
He is the logical brains behind the duo, as opposed to Wallace being the inventive one; he often rolls his eyes at Wallace's mad antics and ideas, often having to save Wallace from many scrapes and calamities.
What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]
- Overall, he's shown to be at least as clever as Wallace (who is a human and an unventor) and not as clumsy as Wallace.
- He helps Wallace to build a rocket.
- He realizes that Feathers McGraw is a wanted criminal and foils his plans with Wallace's help.
- He tries to investigate the stealing of the sheep, but ends up being accused in it himself.
- He, Wallace and Shaun stop Preston from turning all the sheep and Wendolene into the dog feed.
- He realizes that the Were-Rabbit is Wallace and tries to warn him about that.
- He does his best to prevent everyone from knowing that Wallace and the Were-Rabbit are one and the same.
- He stops Victor Quatermaine from killing Wallace and sets him up in front of the public.
- He realizes that Piella is the murderer and tries to warn Wallace about that.
