Dylan Octarine is a major supporting character in the Inkopolis Chaos trilogy. He serves as a minor character in Inkopolis Chaos, a supporting character in Inkopolis Chaos 2 and a major character in Inkopolis Chaos 3. He was a reluctant soldier in the Octarian Army, but he deserted recently, and moved into an apartment in Inkopolis. He is Natalie’s older brother.

What makes him a Guile Hero?[]

He is an excellent hacker, who claims he’s able to hack into anything, and from what we’ve seen, that claim holds up as his hacking has proven to be vital throughout the second and third stories.
He helped Natalie survive while she was homeless and on the run, hiding her from the octo valley authorities, while sending her supplies to survive while she could.
He hacked into Cyalux’s phone to gather information from it.
He helped the heroes break into the octobusters stadium.
He hacked into the Octobuster’s databases, and uploaded all their information online, exposing everyone in that organisation, leading to it being disbanded after Cyalux died.
He helped everyone get through Lieutenant Obsidian’s bases, using his hacking to open locked doors and mess with her security.
He helped liberate the octoling concentration camps.
He hacked into Obsidian’s bomb station, allowing for Katelin, Jade, Summer and Luke to enter and sabotage her bombs.
After the final battle was all over, he didn’t want the octobusters to stain the late Ruby’s publicity among the public, so he made a cover story on how she gave her life for an inkling, keeping it similar to what happened, without spilling any details about the Squidbeak and Obsidian, allowing Ruby to be remembered as the good person she was, rather then the monster that Cyalux portrayed her as.
