Diaz is a supporting character of the We Bare Bears franchise.
Like her fellow Poppy Rangers, Diaz is a brave and adventurous little girl scout/troop and park ranger who has a close friendship with Ranger Dana Tabes and the three bears, more especially Grizzly, and aspires to grow up and become a biologist in the future. Diaz shows high commitment to her aforementioned fellow Poppy Rangers, but Diaz is described as more curious and entertaining, meaning that she is prone to asking too much questions and/or dwells in seeking for truth, but has a high sense of humor. Additionally, Diaz is also the most intelligent, selfless and rational of the Poppy Rangers.
Since her earlier childhood, Diaz has befriended and been with Wallace, Murphy, Parker and Nguyen before being officialized as the Poppy Rangers. Furthermore, outside of her career as a park ranger (like Ranger Tabes) and/or as a Poppy Ranger, Diaz is typically seen casually playing with the other Poppy Rangers and having fun, more especially by having tissue and pillow fights and/or flying kites with the other Poppy Rangers.

What Makes Her A Guile Hero?[]
In General[]
- Being faithful and caring, yet surprisingly genius-level intelligent for a little girl scout, having high knowledge of how to save other people's lives from danger and defeat other villains (through methodical strategies and plans), as well as knowing what to perform with her strategies.
- Is willing to protect and support her fellow Poppy Rangers, the three bears and Ranger Tabes, and get them out of danger.
- Unlike the other Poppy Rangers, who are overall mediocre qualifiers for being Guile Heroes (despite Wallace being a close second to Diaz for coming up with the idea of cheerleading for Grizz to make him reform from his incompetence and to defeat the Ivy Rangers in the annual kickball league, the Peewee Ranger Games), Diaz is one who is drastically clever and smart from start to finish.
- Diaz believes that the power of friendship with the other heroes is crucial and essential as teamwork to defeat the biggest and most dangerous of villains, such as Agent Trout and the Ivy Rangers.
Her actions[]
- When Ranger Tabes encourages Diaz and the other Poppies to explore the Howling Mountain Cave for the Spelunking Badge, Diaz and the other Poppies were reluctant on it and tried to reason with her, with Diaz attempting to reconsider embarking through the formidable Howling Mountain Cave, fearing the danger they will get themselves into (and willingly sided with Grizz in deciding to take the safer and lighter route of the cave), such as being eventually stranded in the aforementioned cave.
- Once Ranger Tabes felt hopeless and insecure when she and the group did get stranded, Diaz encouraged her that she is still an excellent forest ranger, motivating Tabes into optimism and getting herself, Grizz, Diaz and the other Poppy Rangers out of the Howling Mountain Cave before it collapses.
- Not only did Diaz motivated Tabes into optimism, but her and the other Poppies' positive influence on Tabes made her reform herself from her traditional overconfidence.
- Although initially dismissive of Grizz and his incompetence in the annual Peewee Ranger Games, Diaz instantly becomes remorseful and is the first one to apologize for it, and eventually motivates and encourages him to defeat the Ivy Rangers, more especially through cheerleading (with Diaz being the first one to come up with the idea to support him), in which Grizz reforms his incompetence because of this, a sentiment that would go on over the course of the series.
- When she, Ranger Tabes and the Poppy Rangers witness a grasshopper in the episode, Poppy Rangers, Diaz is the first to identify and analyze the insect, and later in the episode, when Diaz and the Poppies get stranded in the Howling Mountain Cave with Grizz and Ranger Tabes, they see the grasshopper from the outside of the cave, and Tabes takes advantage of it and Diaz's analysis on the grasshopper, leading to Tabes throwing Diaz and the Poppy Rangers out of the aforementioned cave, and getting herself and Grizz out of the cave as well.
- In the episode, Hurricane Hal, Diaz offers Grizz his kite to save Wallace from the Hurricane Hal, prompting her, Grizz and the Poppies to take advantage of the strong lasso within Grizz's kite and pull Wallace to safety, despite Diaz and the other Poppies making fun of it for looking childish.
- In the episode, Ranger Games, Diaz suggests that she and the Poppies should support Grizz in the Peewee Ranger Games to win against the villainous and juvenile Ivy Rangers, and the unsportsmanlike and egotistical Ranger Zhao, prompting her and the Poppies to motivate Grizz and make him reform from his traditional incompetence in the series and his lack of skill in kickball for the Peewee Ranger Games through cheerleading, to defeat the Ivy Rangers.
- In We Bare Bears: The Movie, Diaz assisted the three bears in defeating and foiling Agent Trout's heinous plans against the bears by working with the other Poppy Rangers as a team, having knowledge that the power of friendship with the other heroes is crucial and essential as teamwork to defeat the biggest and most dangerous of villains, such as the aforementioned Agent Trout (and the Ivy Rangers).

- She is the very first We Bare Bears character to be a Guile Hero.
- So far, Diaz is the only We Bare Bears character to be a Guile Hero. Although Wallace is a close second for being a Guile Hero for coming up with the idea of cheerleading for Grizz to make him reform from his incompetence and to defeat the Ivy Rangers in the annual kickball league, the Peewee Ranger Games, she still fails the guile standards to Diaz nonetheless.
- To further contribute her status as a Guile Hero, Diaz is described as "curious and witty" in her official character portrait. As such, Diaz is perceived as the smartest and most rational of the Poppy Rangers.
- Diaz is the second character in We Bare Bears after Chloe Park to have genius-level intelligence, despite both characters being young children.
- While Diaz is the smartest of the Poppy Rangers, Wallace does manage to beat her intelligence a few times, despite not being a candidate for a Guile Hero.
