Beetee Latier is a supporting character of the Hunger Games films. He is a tribute who survived the Hunger Games in the past before he got forced to participate in the Quarter Quell Hunger Games. During the Quarter Quell Hunger Games, he and Wiress team up with Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, and Finnick Odair to protect them from the other tributes. Upon escaping the Capitol, Beetee worked with District 13 in developing weapons for them to ensure that the Capitol's tyrannical regime is overthrown.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire[]
- Despite not being a great fighter, he is able to focus his skills on electronics and wiring.
- In the past, he survived the Hunger Games by killing six tributes through electrocution.
- Upon his introduction, he manages to start a fire through friction with Katniss Everdeen and Wiress' help.
- Showing Katniss about the electromagnetic field that their training station.
- He makes a plan with Katniss, Peeta, Finnick, and Johanna to use the lightning tree to electrocute the remaining tributes.
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1[]
- He creates explosive arrows for Katniss to use.
- Made weapons for the military of District 13.
- Hacks the security systems of the Capitol to give the Star Squad the chance to rescue Peeta and Annie.
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2[]
- While he participated in bombing the nut to control District 2, he wanted to have the train tunnel be left open for the survivors to escape.
- Despite the fact that he and Gale had made the bomb that had killed the innocent Capitol citizens, they both had no idea that President Alma Coin was going to use it to harm the innocents. This is further evident by the fact that Beetee Latier refused to let any of the Capitol children to join the Hunger Games in exchange for retribution.
