NOTE: This article will discuss the heroic acts of Android 16 (new model) and not the original Android 16 that had been voted as a pure good hero.


Android 16 is a major antagonist and supporting character of Dragon Ball FighterZ. During the "Enemy Warriors" and "Super Warriors" storyline, Android 16 acts as a major antagonist against both the villains and the heroes while acting as a servant to Android 21. However, on the "Android 21" storyline, it is revealed that Android 16 loyalties to Android 21 is to support her by controlling her hunger urges.

What Makes Him A Guile Hero?[]

General[]

  • Despite the poor mistreatment he endures from the evil personality of Android 21, he always remains loyal to her to make sure that Android 21 is able to break free from her evil self's control.
  • Secretly linked Frieza or Goku with a soul to help them fight against the clone fighters and to defeat Android 21.

Super Warrior Arc[]

  • Was able to secretly link a soul to Goku.
  • Requested to immediately fight Goku during their first encounter to see on how the soul would use Goku's body.
  • Immediately fled once he saw Beerus and Whis as he is aware of how powerful they are.
  • Attempted to deny to Android 21 that he didn't link a soul to Goku.
  • Instead of running away, he chooses to die honorably to Android 21. Although it was not Android 16's intentions, he was able to to prevent the evil personality of Android 21 from eating Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan due to Android 21 feeling pain from her good personality.

Enemy Warrior Arc[]

  • Linked a soul to Frieza, so that Frieza can defeat Android 21.
  • Taught the soul on how to control Frieza's body and communicate with Frieza inside the latter's mind.
  • Once Frieza regained control of his body, Android 16 explains to Frieza that he hasn't taken complete control of his own body due to the soul and that he needs to defeat Android 21 by working with the linked soul.
  • Questioned Android 21 on what had happened to Android 18 to make sure that Android 18 is ok.
  • Attempted to make an excuse to Android 21 on sparing Frieza.
  • Protected Android 21 under the belief that her good personality is in control.

Android 21 Arc[]

  • Kidnapped Android 18, so that he and Android 21 can link a soul to her.
  • Constantly reminded Android 21 of her goals to prevent her hunger urges from taking control of her.
  • Worked with Android 17 and Android 18 in taking out the clone fighters while Android 21 stays in the sidelines to prevent her hunger from taking control over her.
  • Warned Krillin to not get near Android 21 due to Android 21's unstable state.
  • Ordered Android 18 to use her linked soul to stop Android 21 from going berserk from her hunger.
  • Theorized that the split personality of Android 21 is the result of her Majin cells going berserk from the lack of food.
  • Advised Android 21 to not fight Cell, so that her hunger urges don't get the better of her.
  • When Android 18's soul failed to link with Android 21, Android 16 shoots Android 21 in the back to stop her from eating Cell.
  • Before dying, he wishes Android 17 and Android 18 to protect Android 21.
